According to court docs obtained by TMZ, the Weld County District Attorney’s Office offered a deal in which Tyler would plead guilty to the charges of child abuse/negligence without injury.
The prosecutors also want him to complete a parenting program.
As TMZ previously reported, Tyler was charged with child abuse/negligence without injury after authorities say his baby was found wandering around the neighborhood in July 2025.

At first I thought this was about the sexual exploitation charges, but it’s not. He apparently had unrelated charges also. This man needs some life change!
@ACSOL – you are conflating the two cases Tyler is/was dealing with. This one here is dealing with alleged bad parenting, not the video of the interaction he had with his then GF.
To say Tyler was treated differently in one CO county case (Weld) of alleged bad parenting because his mother is an elected official currently running for her seat again in the prosecution’s district is speculation at best. There is no proof to what you’re surmising and does not raise above the level of others who feel PFRs are nothing but below basic humans in the end. PFRs and those who advocate for them strive for the data to be followed and so should the facts in this situation, not thoughts of speculation.
Could it have an impact on his other case in another CO county (Garfield)? Yes, but to say she had unverified positional influence (whether spoken or unspoken) on the prosecution in the district she represents without proof is not something PFRs strive for (and using TMZ as the source article is a low bar).

Mom escapes a sex crime charge for groping her boyfriend in a movie theater. The son escapes a sex crime charge because his girlfriend is just shy of 18. It must be nice having well connected politicians and lawyers in your family.
So not only is it a federal officials son. But he had two seperate incidents AND a video? I thought the law was supposed to be applied fairly to everyone? So does this mean people that neglect their children and make videos like that don’t have to register AND do less than a month in jail?! Money and power. While peasants are left with bread and circuses. Funny how she introduced bills to strip stuff away from politicians previously but yet it doesn’t apply to her? Work the system much?
